Yiping Wang is a staff of National Astronomical Observatories of China, She received her PhD in astrophysics from Wuppertal University of Germany in 1999, and has studied on massive distant galaxies and high redshift QSO hosts over the past 20 years to understand galaxy formation in the early Universe. She is a member of international science development team (SMBH ISDT), as well as TMT Workforce, Education and Public Outreach Board.
